Virginia USA: Renowned Sindhi actress Najma Kawish has returned to Sindh after attending her daughter’s graduation ceremony in the United States. Speaking before leaving for her homeland, Najma Kawish said that while life in the US offers many facilities, true peace comes only after returning to one’s own country.

She said that her children study in the United States, which is why she has to travel back and forth. She added that she has celebrated New Year in the US for the second time; the first New Year celebration was in Chicago, which remains memorable for her.

Najma Kawish said it is a fact that after returning to the country, people face issues related to electricity, gas, infrastructure, and lifestyle. Such problems do not exist in the US, but despite that, one’s own country is one’s true identity. She said that all fatigue disappears the moment she returns home.

The actress also criticized the Sindh government, saying that she devoted her entire life to showbiz but still does not own a home. Whatever she earned was spent on her children’s education, and even today she lives in a rented house. She urged the Sindh government to at least provide artists with their own homes so they can live their lives with peace and dignity.
