PPP leaders brief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on key issues

Karachi: Senior party leaders, provinical ministers and lawmakers called on the Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari separtely at the Bilawal House Karachi. According to the press release the meetings covered range of issues including legislative priorities, public service initiatives and the political situation.

In a meeting with Shazia Marri, the party’s Central Information Secretary and Member of the National Assembly, discussions focused on parliamentary affairs, particularly the party’s role in legislation. She also briefed the chairman on steps taken to address public issues in Sanghar.

Separately, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon met the PPP chairman and provided a detailed briefing on the performance of the Transport Department. In another meeting, Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah discussed the province’s political situation and sought guidance on proposed legislation aimed at granting more powers to local government representatives. During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari directed that a meeting of the Provincial Finance Commission (PFC) be convened at the earliest.

Meanwhile, PPP District Malir President and Member of the Sindh Assembly Raja Razzaq also called on the PPP chairman. The meeting reviewed the party’s organizational matters in the district, along with discussions on public issues and measures for their resolution.
