Nawabshah flower show to start on Feb 13

NAWABSHAH: (H.O) Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Abdul Samad Nizamani, a review meeting was held at the DC Office Darbar Hall regarding the organization of the annual flower exhibition in Nawabshah. It was decided that the three-day flower exhibition will be held on February 13, 14, and 15 at H.M. Khawaja High School, Nawabshah.

The exhibition will feature scientific and cultural stalls set up by Bakhṭawar Cadet College, as well as other public and private educational institutions and government departments of the district. Musical programs, tableaus, and various entertainment activities will be organized on all three days.

During the meeting, detailed discussions took place regarding the venue, entry and exit routes, security plans, traffic management, cleanliness, parking, lighting, water, electricity, first aid, and emergency medical facilities. The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to prioritize the convenience and safety of citizens and families during the exhibition, ensuring full coordination among all departments.

He emphasized that the annual flower exhibition will not only highlight the beauty of the city but also provide a positive and healthy recreational experience for the public. The Forest Department was instructed to ensure the display of seasonal and non-seasonal flowers, creative designs, floral arrangements, and competitions to make the exhibition attractive to visitors.

Regarding security, the police were directed to implement foolproof arrangements, while the traffic police were assigned the responsibility of maintaining smooth traffic flow and effective parking management. The Municipal authorities were instructed to maintain cleanliness and ensure timely disposal of garbage.

The Deputy Commissioner also approved the formation of various committees to monitor the arrangements, which will submit daily progress reports. The meeting concluded with a commitment to complete all arrangements ahead of schedule so that the annual flower exhibition in Nawabshah is successfully conducted and benefits a large number of visitors.

PPP District President Muhammad Salim Zardari and Mir Muhammad Siyal said that the flower exhibition is an excellent way to provide recreational opportunities to the district’s public and create a better environment for citizens. The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Saddam Hussain Memon, Principal of Bakhṭawar Cadet College Dr. Fareeda Sheikh, and officers from the Police, Health, Local Government, Education, Livestock, and other relevant departments.
