Municipal Commissioner Karachi finally removed

KARACHI: Government of Sindh has transferred Municipal Commissioner of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) on Thursday. The decision of his transfer was taken six days after the deadly fire incident in Karachi’s shopping centre, Gul Plaza. Over 60 people were died and many still missing in the incident. He had served under KMC Mayor, Murtaza Wahab who is also Spokesperson to PPP Chairperson, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The KMC as well PPP’s Sindh government were strongly criticized for their failure in implementing safety measures in Gul Plaza and saving human lives.
