Modern machinary used in firefighting, claims Sharjeel

Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic fire incident at Gul Plaza.

In his statement, Sharjeel Inam Memon said the incident was extremely tragic, resulting in the loss of precious human lives. He added that the government stands in solidarity with the affected families. He said that as soon as information about the incident was received, government machinery reached the site during the night, and every possible effort was made to control the fire using all available resources.

According to Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, 40 snorkels and other modern machinery took part in the rescue and firefighting operation, as a result of which the fire has largely been brought under control, while the cooling process is still ongoing. He said that immediately after the incident, the fire brigade, snorkels and rescue agencies reached the site, and timely action was taken.
