KARACHI: Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan is a distinguished professional whose career reflects an extraordinary blend of technical mastery and academic excellence. A Marine Chief Engineer and former Chief Mechanical and Electrical Engineer at Karachi Port Trust, he built a formidable reputation in maritime engineering through decades of leadership and service.

After concluding his seafaring career in 2004, Dr. Khan embarked on an inspiring academic journey driven by intellectual curiosity and a passion for human development. He earned two master’s degrees—one in Speech-Language Pathology and the other in Philosophy—demonstrating a rare transition from engineering precision to the exploration of language, thought, and human behavior. He further advanced his scholarly pursuits with an MPhil in Social Psychology.

Culminating his academic endeavors, Dr. Khan was awarded a Doctorate in Education. His doctoral research focused on the psychology and underlying mechanisms of stuttering, contributing valuable insights to the understanding of speech disorders.
