Education is most powerful force, says Bilawal
KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has termed education the most powerful force for dignity, equality, and hope, and the strongest weapon against poverty, extremism, and injustice. He said that the PPP firmly believes that classrooms—not battlefields—shape destinies, and that books, not bullets, build nations.
According to the press release issued by the Media Cell Bilawal House, the PPP Chairman, in his message on the occasion of World Education Day, extended greetings to all those associated with the country’s education sector—especially students and teachers—and paid tribute to their dedication and commitment. He noted that every child—regardless of gender, class, or geography—has the right to quality education. “Education is not charity; it is a fundamental right. When we educate a child, we empower a family, uplift a community, and strengthen the future of our nation,” he said.
He emphasized that the vision of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was rooted in accessible and inclusive education for all. Reaffirming the PPP’s commitment, he said the party will continue to strive for equal educational opportunities, especially for girls and marginalized communities, so that no child’s dreams are limited by circumstance. “On World Education Day, let us renew our promise to light every home with the lamp of knowledge, because an educated Pakistan is a strong, peaceful, and progressive Pakistan,” he concluded.
