Rehan Baloch transferred from Health Dept.

KARACHI (Reporter) Sindh government has transferred Secretary, Health Depatment, Rehan Iqbal Baloch. According to an official notification issued by Services and General Administration Department, Sindh, Special Secretary Health, Jamshed Alam Memon has been given lookafter charge of Secretary’s office, till further orders. He is grade 20 officer of the Sindh Government. He was appointed as Secretary Health Department in March 2024.

His transfer from the post has surprised many people in bureaucracy and media. He had remained very close to Fazal Pechuho, husband of current Minister for Health, Azra Fazal Pechuho. Rehan Baloch had also served under Fazal Pechuho when he was Secretary of the Health Department. Mr. Pechuho had later retired from the government service.
