New Age Media Welcomes Young Journalist
KARACHI: New Age Media is pleased to announce the appointment of a young and emerging female journalist,Preet Tania, as Assistant Editor, further strengthening the organization’s commitment to quality journalism and fresh perspectives.
She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the Virtual University of Pakistan, where she is developing a strong academic foundation in media studies, journalism ethics, news reporting, and digital communication. Her academic journey reflects her dedication to understanding modern media dynamics and evolving journalistic practices.
Prior to her graduation studies, she completed a Diploma in Animation from Sukkur IBA University. This creative and technical background has equipped her with a unique visual storytelling skill set, enabling her to blend traditional journalism with modern digital and multimedia approaches. Her training in animation and visual communication enhances her ability to contribute to content presentation, storytelling, and digital media production.
After completing her diploma, she returned to Karachi, where she took her first steps into practical journalism. Through hands-on experience in the field, she gained exposure to news reporting, editorial work, content development, and newsroom operations. Her early professional journey reflects a strong work ethic, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced media environment.
As Assistant Editor at New Age Media, she is expected to play an active role in coverage of social and cultural events and art exhibitions. She will report to the Editor. Her blend of academic learning and creative expertise positions her as a promising addition to the organization.
