Chinese company Ling zhi keen to invest in Sindh
Karachi: Sindh Provincial Minister for Local Government, Housing and Town Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, met with a delegation of the Chinese Ling zhi Group of Companies. On this occasion, the Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary Local Government, Director General KDA, and CEO Water Corporation were also present.
The Chinese company expressed its interest in making investments in Sindh and briefed the Provincial Minister about its professional expertise and performance. The company also showed interest in establishing plants for converting seawater into potable water as well as plants to make underground water suitable for use.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that Sindh welcomes foreign investors and that the Sindh Government is keen to benefit from their professional expertise. He added that providing basic facilities to the public is among the top priorities of the Sindh Government, and work is underway to ensure the supply of clean drinking water to every city and village.
He further stated that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has directed that all essential facilities be provided to the people at their doorstep, and the provincial government is making day and night efforts to implement these directives.
